Why do people hate on people that use the personals ads on craigslist? I don’t use online dating, but I have looked at the personals in my city out of boredom and most of the guys are attractive.

A lot of people view it as lazy, since you’re not making the effort of going out, looking your best, and socializing. or that it’s for the “losers” of the internet dating world who can’t get “real life” girl/boyfriends, because they’re “ugly” or “unattractive”.

I know others who think it’s creepy, and full of fiends, since practically every other day there’s a story on the free dating news about a pedophile stalking kids’ myspaces.

Also, it’s kind of cowardly, because anyone can lie hiding behind a computer screen; nothing is certain on the internet, and there are millions of ways to change the way you act, look, or are. the young, witty and fit 23-year-old hottie you’ve been chatting with could actually be an overweight, zitty and bored 14-year-old single dating girl posting pictures she saved from some random person’s facebook.

there’s really nothing wrong with it, I guess. If you happen to find someone who doesn’t lie and isn’t a sexual predator. but really, it’s more admirable to go out and start flirting at a club, or even the grocery store for christ’s sake. if you’ve got nothing to hide, then this shouldn’t be too hard. I met my girlfriend by going up to her in the middle of class and sitting on her desk. Not by writing on her facebook wall.

If you happen to find someone who means a lot to you via internet, then who cares what other dating personals think? All that matters is you love each other, and it’s real.

the problem I see is that adult personals usually see online dating sites as being “meat markets” and nothing more then “hook up sites” or booty calls. Which you have to admit.. for the most part that’s pretty much true right?

Most online dating sites are all about singles and flings or having some sort of booty call hook up and usually nothing about actually “dating” …wouldn’t you say?

So there is the natural reason why society “hates” on the whole concept of free dating online. Just think about it for a second or two. Most women out there are insanely jealous of usually one thing in their household… the computer. And that damned computer is usually responsible for their men trolling on forums and dating sites with alias accounts and fake names looking for some fling.

Cheating is easier and easier in this technological age and it’s no wonder why most singles dating people will hate the online dating sites… it’s not directly their fault.. but the culprit of a failed relationship …wouldn’t you agree.
